PC & Laptop Computer Hardware Upgrades Plymouth

Advances in computer technology is a fast paced world with new developments taking place all of the time.  We can perform a variety of hardware upgrades for PC's and laptops.  We can even build a custom PC for you for specialist applications such as games, computer aided design or music production.  We will source high quality hardware components for your upgrade at cost price and we will install them making sure that they are working correctly and not causing any conflicts on your computer that could arise.  If we install a larger hard disc drive for you we won't do a fresh install of your operating system, instead we will transfer your operating system with all of your personal files and settings so it will be exactly the way it was before.  We also install peripheral items such as scanners and wireless printers. CD/DVD Re-Writer

If you have a CD burner but you want to be able to record data to DVD's or BLU-RAY discs then give us a call.

RAM memory

This will help to speed up your laptop or PC and enable you to run memory intensive applications much more efficiently.  We can quickly tell what type of RAM you will need with regards to the specifications of your motherboard.  Often people will do this themselves and will buy the incorrect memory for their system.

Larger hard disc drive

We can increase the capacity of your hard drive or upgrade an IDE drive to a SATA drive which means that data transfer will be quicker resulting in a faster system.  We can also install an extra hard disc drive in your PC as a backup drive to give you extra protection if your main system drive malfunctions

Printer

Perhaps you have an old printer and would like to have a newer wireless printer connected to your PC or laptop.

Webcam

Most modern laptops come with a built in web camera.  If you have an older laptop or a PC we can install a webcam for you if you wish to use software such as Skype so that you can see friends or relatives on the other side of the world when you talk with each other.

Graphics card

Graphics cards are part of a fast changing world to keep up with the latest games you may need to upgrade your graphics card.  We can also install multiple graphics cards in your PC if you wish to take advantage of SLI or Crossfire configurations.  Or maybe you would like a dual monitor graphics card so you can hook up an extra monitor to your PC

Sound card

If you're a budding musician we can install a high quality sound card to meet your demands or maybe you would like to hook up a  surround sound system for your PC

Motherboard and/or CPU

If you want to really boost the performance of your PC then we suggest a CPU (the brain of your PC) upgrade and possibly a motherboard upgrade as well if you wish to take advantage of multi processing power.
